Biography
Apri Laila Sayekti is a PhD student at the Centre for Global Food and Resources, University of Adelaide. Previously, she was a researcher in Indonesian Centre for Horticulture Research and Development (ICHORD), Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia. With her team, she conducted research in policy analysis in Indonesia for vegetables, fruits, and ornamental crops. Now, she is doing research on chili in Indonesia for her PhD as a collaborative research between ICHORD, IPB and the Centre for Global Food and Resources funded by Australia Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). The purposes of her research are to identify the demand for labour by gender, the influence of gender on farm productivity and income with quantitative data set.
