Biography
Dr Catalin Tufanaru, M.D., MPH, MClinSci (EBHC), PhD, is Research Associate at Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), Faculty of Health Sciences, at University of Adelaide. Catalin has previously worked as General Practitioner, Public Health Specialist and Researcher. He has been widely involved with multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary working in the fields of evidence-based healthcare, health policy analysis, clinical practice guidelines development, health promotion and social marketing. Catalin is the first author of a book on conducting systematic reviews of economic evidence (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Philadelphia, 2011), first author of a book on statistics for systematic reviews (Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Philadelphia, 2012), author of a book on health policy analysis (Transilvania University Press, 2009), co-author of a book on organizational marketing and social marketing (Iuliu Hatieganu Medical University Press, 2007), and one of the co-authors of the European Union Network of Health Technology Assessment EUnetHTA Handbook on HTA Capacity Building (EUnetHTA, Barcelona, 2008).
