Biography
NHMRC Postdoctoral Researcher Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences My research areas include mathematical & statistical modelling in biology and medicine, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, biostatistics and applied mathematics. Specifically, the topics are mainly on classification and cluster analysis of biological sequence or clinical data, modelling and analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data, computational molecular evolution and phylogenetics, genetic epidemiology (GWAS/rare variant analysis), gene prediction/finding, and metagenomics.
