Biography
ARC Senior Research Associate Faculty of Sciences I am an earth scientist who conducts research on the geochemistry of geological and environmental samples. My research broadly centres around the interaction between solid earth processes, such as tectonics and magmatism, with the Earth’s oceans, atmosphere and climate. Specifically, this work involves investigations into continental weathering, sedimentary provenance, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary basin development, the development and distribution of black shales, ocean redox and the rise of atmospheric oxygen.
