Biography
Higher Degree by Research Candidate Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences Hassen is a PhD student at the Adelaide Medical School under the supervision of Professor Helen Marshall, director of Vaccinology and Immunology Research Trials Unit (VIRTU). His research project is examining infant and mother safety following tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination during pregnancy. His research interests are broadly in the area of the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases. Hassen has a specific research interest in immunization during pregnancy.
