Biography
Higher Degree by Research Candidate Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences I am researching the pregnancy journey for women with pre-exisiting diabetes and how we can improve pre-pregnancy counselling. I am a mental health social worker and diabetes educator with over 16 years experience working in diabetes and mental health. I have also lived with type 1 diabetes since 1979 and am a blogger, writer and diabetes advocate. I founded an online diabetes counselling service in 2001 and am a leader in online support in health.
