Biography
My research interest focuses on economic issues affecting global food security, diet quality and related health outcomes. Part of my PhD work includes the determinants of dietary diversity and food security through its dimensions (food availability, food access and food utilization). I am also interested to investigate how household level shocks affect the dimensions of food security, diet quality and related health outcomes of different age groups. Apart from food and health related studies, I have a keen interest in the literature of development economics such as gender issues and labour force participation.
