Biography
I am a Health Services Researcher based in the Adelaide Health Economics Research Group within the School of Public Health. I have experience undertaking research in primary care, tertiary care and workplaces, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Currently, I am the coordinator of a pilot study of the Counterweight Program, which is examining the feasibility and acceptability of the Counterweight weight management program to Australian general practices and patients. As part of my recently completed Master of Public Health, I explored the lived experiences of patients enrolled in the Counterweight Program, including the story of their weight and their experience with the program. In 2016, I was awarded the inaugural Professor Tony McMichael Memorial Prize for excellence in the completion of the Master of Public Health.
