Biography
Malcolm completed his Undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Pharmacology at the University of Adelaide in 2010. In 2011 he received First Class Honours in Chemistry for research on short peptide strands for inhibition of amyloid fibril formation under the supervision of Prof. John Carver and Prof. Andrew Abell. Malcolm continued with Prof. Andrew Abell in his PhD, working on fluorescent sensors for hydrogen peroxide in reproductive health. His current research is focused on the detection of reactive oxygen species (such as hydrogen peroxide) for improved health outcomes in IVF and cardio vascular health.
