Biography
Investigator in the Cognitive and Emotional Recovery Training for Depression (CERT-D) study. My role is to design and test a new psychological intervention for Major Depressive Disorder. The CERT-D will target improvement in psychosocial functioning (e.g., leisure time, social relationships, cognition), following the rationale that psychosocial dysfunction inhibits recovery from depression and encourages relapse. I will conduct recruitment, administer the intervention and assess participant functioning / clinical outcomes across the intervention. My PhD research centered on spatial cognition, exploring the roles of interactivity (active control vs. passive observation) and working memory in map learning.
