Biography
Associate Professor Maureen Rischmueller is the Senior Consultant Rheumatologist, Rheumatology Department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor, Discipline of Medicine, University of Adelaide. Her main research interests are within the realm of inflammatory rheumatic diseases including Sjogren's syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and vasculitis. Her translational research program investigates pathogenetic mechanisms, novel auto-antibodies, genetic risk factors, clinical manifestations, and new treatments for autoimmune rheumatic diseases.
