Biography
Professor Michael Davies is an epidemiologist located within the Robinson Reserach Institute at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He co-directs the Lifecourse and Intergenerational Health Research Group. His research focuses on the social and biological pathways to health at different points in the life course, commencing with the question of how periconceptional and pregnancy related factors alter our health trajectories. As part of this research program, he is interested in fertility decision making and the technologies that are involved in managing fertility, including questions related to the safety and effectiveness of treatments for infertility.
