Biography
My research interests include dementia risk-prevention, cognitive ageing, critical and qualitative approaches to health and psychological research, and discourse analysis. I am interested in the use of qualitative methods to examine a variety of critical issues related to experiences of health and illness, particularly in relation to issues of risk, prevention and treatment in older age. In my current role, I contribute to the research activities of the Centre of Research Excellence (CRE) in Frailty and Healthy ageing by exploring perceptions of frailty among different stakeholder groups.
