Biography
Russell Burton has been teaching classroom and instrumental music in South Australia and Victoria for over 30 years. He has a Master’s degree in Music Education and is currently undertaking a PhD in the department of Psychology at the University of Adelaide. His main area of interest is music cognition, specifically relating to how the brain processes very short sounds. Russell is currently serving on the council of ASME SA and is also a member of the Acoustical Society of America.
