Biography
Sarah Kidd is Head of the National Mycology Reference Centre at SA Pathology, Adelaide, as well as adjunct staff at both the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and a PhD in Medicine, both at the University of Sydney. She has undertaken postdoctoral training and research in medical mycology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and at Monash University at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne. Research interests include the epidemiology, phylogeny, and antifungal susceptibilities of fungi, in particular Aspergillus and Cryptococcus species.
