Biography
My research is focused on plant cell physiology and molecular biology of membrane transport and signalling in plants. My specific research aims include: Exploring the mechanisms of GABA signalling and regulation of ion transporters in plants. Exploring energy costs of carbon loss via anion channels under abiotic stress in plants. Understanding how some aquaporins function as both water and ion channels.
