Biography
Vicky is currently enrolled as a PhD student within the Neuroimmunopharmacology Laboratory (School Medicine/ Faculty Health Sciences), headed by supervisor Prof. Mark Hutchinson. Vicky is also a member of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale Biophotonics (Origins of Sensations biological theme). Title of her PhD research project is: The role of nitroxyl (HNO) in neuropathic pain signalling and development of morphine tolerance. Vicky also currently holds a part-time position as Laboratory Manager/Research Assistant within the same lab, and prior to starting her PhD,worked in a similar capacity within various labs from the Universities of Adelaide and Melbourne for the last 16 years.
