Biography
Vivienne Moore PhD, is a professor and co-director of the Life Course and Intergenerational Health Research Group at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. Her research investigates the social and behavioural influences on women’s and children’s health within a life course perspective, and gender inequalities in health. Co-Head with Professor Michael Davies, Life Course and Intergenerational Health (LIGHt) group (School of Population Health) It is increasingly clear that environmental factors in early life are major determinants of chronic disease risk in later life. Through this mechanism, both social and biological influences on health are transmitted from one generation to the next. Show more
