Biography
Yongle (Leo) Li received a PhD from the Technical University of Munich in 2012 in the area of quantitative genetics and plant molecular breeding. After finishing his PhD, he joined the global wheat program of CIMMYT in Mexico as a post-doctoral fellow implementing genomic selection method into the wheat breeding program. In 2013 he took up another post-doctoral fellow position in the University of Adelaide to develop and implement molecular breeding tools to assist chickpea breeding.
