Biography
A committed petrol-head, I am a former motorcycle racer, and restore my own cars, specialising in '70s Ford Falcons. I believe that the '93 model of the Honda VFR750 was the greatest motorcycle ever built. After completing my degree I worked as a design engineer in heavy transport for a company building semi-trailers. Following this I worked as a product engineer for an automotive parts company supplying components to the "Big Four" car companies in addition to rail and transport. This role involved design, negotiation/sales and complete project management from concept through to mass production. I have been with FedUni since early 2007. Always having had a passion for research I am now committed to the Federation University where I will begin my PhD.
