Ajay Ramful

Biography

Ajay is a postdoctoral research fellow in mathematics education. Previously, he was a secondary school mathematics teacher and has been a lecturer in mathematics education for more than 10 years. In the past, he has been the head of mathematics education department at the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE). He was equally the programme coordinator for the Teacher's Diploma programme for secondary school teachers at the MIE. Besides course development for teachers, he has also been actively involved in curriculum development at the elementary and secondary levels. His research is related to primary and secondary mathematics teaching and learning, including affective dimensions of learning.
