Biography
Angela provides administrative and research support to academic researchers at SERC. Her interests are in data analysis, evaluation and impact assessments, and writing. Previously, she was a Research Project Assistant at a US-based strategic consulting firm that specialises in research and evaluation in the non-profit and philanthropic sectors. She was responsible for administration, data collection and analysis, and the drafting and production of reports on education and workforce development projects. Angela also has marketing and communications experience working at non-profit organisations in the US focused on teacher professional development and economic development. Angela received her Master's degree in Economics from Uppsala University in Sweden where she specialised in examining the economic returns to education and wrote her thesis on the relationship between perceived teacher quality and student achievement. She also holds bachelor's degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
