Biography
"Dr Anne Drabble is the Program Coordinator for Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Dr. Anne Drabble is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. Her research areas include early language and literacy development, place based learning especially in rural and remote locations for preservice teachers, and supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners. Her work with preservice teachers in the field focuses on establishing strong links between content knowledge and practice during supervised professional experience. As a result of her work in this area Anne received an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Citation for, “Sustained excellence in the development of an innovative online facility that supports professional experience for teacher education practica.” She teaches in courses that focus on quality pre service teacher preparation in early years and school settings. In addition, she works with early years educators from different cultural backgrounds to support effective learning and development for children with diverse needs. She supervises students enrolled in Masters and Doctoral research programs."
