Biography
"Nigel Barr has been involved in a health practice discipline since 1988 and over this period has gained the following multiple qualifications including his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Nursing Intensive Care, Associate Diploma Health Science (Ambulance Officer), an Advanced Diploma of MICA Paramedic Studies and Graduate Certificate in Professional Learning. Prior to his appointment with USC, Nigel was also a Senior Operations Officer Clinical and Education Services with Rural Ambulance Victoria. Nigel is a new researcher involved with projects exploring infection control and teaching and learning of clinical science. Nigel is currently completing his PhD at USC, exploring the professional behaviours, perceptions and opinions of Australian paramedics towards infection control in the out of hospital environment."
