Biography
Alison Ray has more than 30 years media experience. She has produced, directed, presented and written for media in Australia, the United States and the UK. Alison has worked for Granada Television in the UK News Editor and a feature documentary producer. In Australia she has worked for ABC Television as a factual program producer and as a senior news producer. At ABC Radio News, Alison was Executive Producer and news reader for Triple J's national news service. For ABC Online she was NSW Regional Editor, and ran online gateways including; ABC TV, Triple J, the Playground, Rollercoaster, Rural and Message Stick. Alison was the 2003 Reuters Fellow to Oxford University, and has a Master of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as well as a Bachelor of Arts from UTS. Alison is a lecturer at Sydney University teaching Broadcast Journalism, News Writing and Video Production for the Department of Media and Communication.
