Biography
Ava Wu is a lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, Ava was a lecturer at the Australian National University. Her current research interests include audit quality, earnings quality, analyst expertise and analyst forecast accuracy. Ava obtained her PhD and Bachelor of Commerce (1st Class Honours) from ANU. She was selected as the AFAANZ PhD student representative to attend the European Accounting Association Doctoral Symposium in 2011. Ava was awarded both internal and external research grants during her PhD candidature, and was the recipient of the Honours Awards for best thesis and best aggregate results.
