Research Interest
He has broad interest in sleep and breathing, ventilatory control, hypercapnia and hypoxia, drug effects, and neurocognitive functions. His major research interest is exploring the mechanisms of sleep-disordered breathing, and phenotyping relevant treatment/drug effects using awake ventilatory chemoreflex technique. He is also interested with exploring neuro-cognitive outcomes of sleep-disordered breathing, and relevant hypoxia and hypercapnia mechanisms.
