Biography
My professional academic background began in 1982, where I obtained my first professional qualification at the College of Radiography and Radiotherapy in Kuala Lumpur Hospital. I practiced as a Diagnostic Radiographer from 1986 to 1994 in two hospitals in Malaysia. Whilst continuing my education at Curtin University of Technology in Perth Australia in 1991 for both Degree program and Postgraduate Diploma in medical imaging education. Starting in 2000, I pursued my postgraduate study at Sydney University, where I obtained a MHSc in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and HScD in Computed Tomography Dosimetry in 2005. In 1994 to 1996 I began my educational career as a tutor. At the end of 1996, I was appointed to the position of Medical Imaging Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara until June 2016. In July 2016, I have been appointed as Lecturer at The University of Sydney. I am a member of Malaysian Society of Radiographer since 1983. In the society, I was appointed as EXCO for a number of years. Currently I am a life member of the society. In addition, I also involved in various research groups that related to medical imaging, Image Processing, MRI and CT modalities.
