Biography
John commenced as Director of Australia-China Partnerships at the George Institute for Global Health in February 2015. The position was created to embrace the academic and business opportunities arising from the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) which came into force on Dec 20th 2015. ChAFTA specifically mentions health care and R&D as areas for economic growth.
