Biography

Dr. LEANNE TOGHER is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of Health Sciences, University of Sydney , Australia. His research interests includes Professor Togher's work focuses on improving the communication of people with acquired brain injury. This includes the development of direct communication treatment approaches as well as training programs for families and community agencies. Leanne has published training packages for law and justice personnel in conjunction with the Attorney General's Department of NSW. She developed a treatment resource aimed at improving everyday communication for people with brain injury and their families, called TBI Express. This treatment was proven as part of an NHMRC funded clinical trial and is now available for clinicians, people with brain injury, their families, friends and carers.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. LEANNE TOGHER is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
