Biography
Dr. MARK ALLON is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Department of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Sydney , Australia. His research interests includes Buddhist manuscripts from Afghanistan and Pakistan, particularly those in the Gandhari language through the Early Buddhist Manuscripts Project. His primary interests are in the composition and transmission of early Buddhist literature, in the ways in which texts have been used by Buddhist communities, and in the languages of early Buddhist texts.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. MARK ALLON is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Buddhist manuscripts from Afghanistan and Pakistan, particularly those in the Gandhari language through the Early Buddhist Manuscripts Project. His primary interests are in the composition and transmission of early Buddhist literature, in the ways in which texts have been used by Buddhist communities, and in the languages of early Buddhist texts..
