Biography
Eduardo Delamare is a clinical Lecturer in the discipline of Dento-maxillofacial Radiology (DMFR) at the University of Sydney. He is responsible for teaching and coordinating the simulation and clinical training of students in all four years of the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program and is also involved with the teaching of Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH). Dr. Delamare gained his Master’s degree by working with research on the clinical application of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography within multiple areas in Dentistry. His current research interests are in the association of digital diagnostic imaging and computer-aided diagnosis.
Research Interest
- Promoting the advancements in diagnostic imaging in the last couple of decades which have multiplied the significance of DMFR as a specialty in Dentistry. - Promoting Science/evidence-based Dentistry and critical thinking to graduate and post-graduate students as well as exploring more effective ways of communicating DMFR. - Investigate and explore the potential of the association between new methods of image acquisition and artificial intelligence algorithms in order to offer new alternatives in computer-aided diagnosis.
