Biography
Associate Professor Dwyer has previously taught at Macquarie University and at the University of Western Sydney in Media Policy and Research in the School of Communication Arts. He is currently Chair of the Department of Media and Communications.
Research Interest
Associate Professor Dwyer’s research focuses on the critical evaluation of media and communications industries, regulation, media ethics, law and policy in an era of convergent media, algorithmic mediatisation and the use of personal data.
