Biography
Dr Victor Fung is Clinical Associate Professor at Sydney Medical School, The University of Sydney and Director of the Movement Disorders Unit, Department of Neurology, Westmead Hospital. He is Treasurer of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and a past chair of its Congress Scientific Program Committee. He is on the Educational Committee of the International Association of Parkinson’s and Related Disorders, the Asian Oceanian Association of Neurology Education Committee, and the Asia Pacific Affairs Committee of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, and is a past-President of the Movement Disorder Society of Australia (MDSA). He was the founding Chairperson of the MDSA Clinical Research and Trials Group. He is a member of the Parkinson's Australia, Parkinson's NSW and Dystonia Network Australia Scientific Advisory Boards. He serves on the Editorial Board of Movement Disorders, npj Parkinson's Disease, the Journal of Clinical Movement Disorders, Movement Disorders Clinical Practice and F1000 Research. He has a clinical and research interest in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders.
