Biography
Dr Al-Aubaidy has joined the School of medicine, University of Tasmania in May 2014 after leaving his position as a course coordinator of the Bachelor of Health and Rehabilitation Science course in the School of Community Health, Charles Sturt University, NSW. Before that, he held the position of the Deputy Head, Department of Chemistry & Clinical Biochemistry in Al-Nahrain university, Baghdad, Iraq (2006-2008). Dr Al-Aubaidy completed a bachelor degree in medicine and general surgery (MBChB) at the Al-Nahrain University in 2001, followed by a MSc in clinical biochemistry in 2005, followed by a PhD in clinical biochemistry in 2007. In June 2008, he was awarded an Australian Endeavour Fellowship to do his postdoctoral research in Charles Sturt University, NSW.
