Biography
Before joining the University of Tasmania as a PhD candidate and a Lecturer, Hormoz accumulated extensive industry (telecommunication and electronics) experience as a sales engineer, marketing manager, head project manager and market researcher. He possesses over 8 years of working experience in B2B industries.
Research Interest
Hormoz's research area is more related to creativity and knowledge. So far his research has focused on the complementary role of innovation-related and marketing-related capabilities (bundles of skills and knowledge) that may enhance the commercialisation of the first product by new technology ventures. Further he has been focusing on identifying contingency factors that enhance the impact of the asset exploitation mechanisms in first product commercialisation projects.
