Biography
Mary Scott is Senior Lecturer at the School of Creative Arts. Her commitment to high quality teaching and learning has been recognised through seven teaching certificates and two teaching awards, including a Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching and Learning [2008] and Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, The Australian Learning and Teaching Council [2008].
Research Interest
Scott's research contributes to the University of Tasmania's Research Theme of Creativity, Culture and Society, through enhancing understanding of Australian and global cultures and communities, as well as equipping society to be innovative and embrace change. It also contributes to the further theme of Environment, Resources and Sustainability through enhancing understanding of the challenges faced by Australia and global communities in reaching ecological sustainability and recognition of value of rich natural heritage to human society and well-being.
