Biography
Dr Gerhard Bachfischer is a typographer, designer and academic with close to 30 years of teaching experience, around half of which was undertaken overseas. His current research areas include design practice, design education, and the integration of technology and creative skills in both design practice and education. Gerhard is a lecturer for the Visual Communication in Design program at UTS where he tries to convince students and colleagues about the importance of typography and its proper use.
