Mitchell Casey roles and responsibilities are: Health, Safety, Environment and Quality • Comply with applicable health safety and environmental laws and regulations. • Development and review of risk assessment and safe work method statements and consultation with workers. • Preparation and completion of design package management plans, procedures, protocols and inspection and checklist reports. Leadership • Co-ordinate staff to work safely, productively, efficiently and effectively as an integrated team. • Proactive management of industrial relations issues. Business Management • Analyse and report on financial data relating to the projects performance including cost code management, accruals and forecasting • Rationalising design which optimises performance and minimises cost while meeting the requirements of the contract. • Identify potential variations/claims and track potential variations on a cost basis • Cost and production tracking. Procurement • Plan and procure plant and materials to meet programme requirements. Subcontract Administration • Managing subcontract administration and commercial issues. • Prepare tenders, subcontract agreements, schedules and payments. • Daily management of subcontractors Planning Programming and Resourcing • Identify, implement and track project planning, programming and resourcing. • Preparation and update of project programme's. Client/Community Relations • Liaise with client to achieve contract goals • Engage in consultation with community through the community relations manager
