Luís Raiado

Biography

  Luís finished his PhD in Biotechnology in 2014 at the Institute for Biotechnology and Bioengineering group from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. His research focussed on the development of chomatography based downstream processing of plasmid DNA for vaccination or gene therapy, from which several scientific publications were published. Luís was a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Biologica Experimental e Tecnológica in Oeiras, Portugal working on the upstream process for virus-like particles (VLPs) and downstream processing of several biological entities, including VLPs, viral vectors and proteins.  Luís joined the ranks of the ViruSure business development team in February 2016 aiming to bring ViruSure's talented team and high quality testing service into new ventures. Luís is responsible for customers in Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom and South America.
