Biography
Geoffrey Webster is a Chartered Professional Engineer, graduating with honours from the University of Adelaide, and is the director of a specialist waste and engineering consultancy located in South Australia. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has been awarded MBA through Latrobe University. With nearly 20 years experience in the engineering and waste management sectors, Geoffrey has previously worked as the General Manager for ASX 200 listed company Transpacific Industries heading up their Post Collections division in a national capacity, as well as working as the project manager for a Hong Kong-based investment company. Geoffrey is currently the Treasurer of not-for-profit entity KESAB environmental solutions - South Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation in delivering world-class environmental sustainability programs. With KEASB’s mission being to inspire the South Australian community to restore, preserve and improve our environment through active participation in dynamic programs, Geoffrey and the team look for and deliver complementary systems that can together achieve high levels of environmental and sustainable performance. Geoffrey has also been appointed to the board of the Wast Management Association of Australia - the peak body for all stakeholders in the waste and resource recovery industry. Their purpose is to support our members in achieving sustainable waste and resource management across Australia. This is done through leadership, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, with our values being professional, proactive, collaborative, informative.
