Biography
Dr Adam Stirling is a medical oncologist based at Icon Cancer Care Chermside and the Wesley. His clinical interests include treating all solid tumour types, especially lung, gastrointestinal, central nervous system, and genitourinary cancers. Dr Adam Stirling received his MBBS from the University of Queensland in 2003. He completed general internal medicine training in 2007 before undertaking specialist training in medical oncology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Mater Hospitals (2008 – 2010). Dr Stirling joined Haematology & Oncology Clinics of Australia, now Icon Cancer Care, in 2010 and, following successful completion of his specialist training in January 2011, commenced private practice. Throughout his career, he has maintained an active interest in teaching and research, including a strong focus on early phase clinical trials. He holds the position of senior lecturer with the University of Queensland.
