Biography
Mark was appointed Director of Corporate Affairs of Westfield Corporation in June 2014. Mark joined Westfield in 1994 after a career in media and government. After working for metropolitan newspapers in the early 1980s, he joined the Victorian Government as a press secretary in 1985 and became Director of the Victorian Government Media Unit in 1987. In 1989, he moved to Canberra as press secretary to the then Federal Treasurer, the Honourable Paul Keating, and later served as Senior Political Adviser to Keating as Prime Minister between 1991-94. He is a director of the Lowy Institute for International Policy and Chain Reaction, a not-for-profit cycling event company.
