Biography
Mark has worked in the voluntary sector for 20 years as an employee and consultant for over 50 charities including National Childbirth Trust, Scope, National Children’s Bureau, The Conservation Volunteers, Kids, and the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust. He has experience across a broad range of regional, national and international causes. He has directed both income generation and operational departments and has particular expertise in the development and maintenance of complex partnerships and strategic relationships. Mark’s experience includes production of £multimillion lottery proposals; creation of an award winning commercial income generation team, and being the MD of a charity trading company. Mark joins World Child Cancer from British Red Cross where he was Head of Programme funding developing UK & International processes to support achievement of a £15million annual restricted funding target from trust, statutory, major donor and corporate sources.
