Rebecca Ross

Biography

 Rebecca has a long history with the charity, having worked with the charity since 2008. Rebecca is a chartered accountant and prior to joining World Child Cancer, worked for professional services firms and for an international travel company. Rebecca is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the charity and ensures that all statutory and legal requirements are met. As well as looking after finance, Rebecca is also responsible for HR and Company Secretarial matters. A typical day for Rebecca is very varied and can include reporting to donors, overseeing the annual audit, managing the payroll, budgeting and reviewing management accounts and working with our overseas partners to ensure the funds raised by our wonderful fundraisers and supporters reaches those children most in need and has the most impact. Rebecca is very motivated by the work of World Child Cancer having been personally affected by cancer. As such, she is thrilled to be working for an organisation making such a difference to the lives of children with cancer
