Born in 1940 in Tel Aviv. Career: 2008- Chairman of the investment Committee of Clal Insurance participating Policies. 2008 - Chairman Executive Board – Weizmann Institute of Science. 1991-2008 -Chairman of Bezeq; Chairman of Globcall; Director - Bank Hapoalim, Pelephone, Yes Satellite Television, the Caesarea Development Company, Hadar and Dolev insurance companies. 1965- 1991-Maariv - numerous editorial and management positions including editor in chief from 1985 to 1991. Public Service: IPI member: IPI is an organization of editors-in-chief (past Board member, 1991-1999), publishers and executives representing every type of media from 121 countries. The IPI is headquartered in Vienna. Member of the Board of Governors of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Member of the Executive Committee and Board of the Davidson Institute of Science Education: Member of the Board of the Caesarea Development Fund, until 2008.
