Biography
Konrad Antonicek studied Egyptology at the University of Vienna. Since 2003, he works at the Acoustics Research Institute. His duties include the leadership of the administration and organization group, as well as assistance to the management.
Research Interest
His special scientific interest lies in ancient Egyptian music and religion. Another focus of his research work is the reception of the ancient Egyptian culture in modern Europe; he is part of the executive committee of the Egypt and Austria society, an international composed assoziation of scientists belonging to various research disciplines, from egyptology to history. Further, he teaches Egyptian hieroglyphics in various adult education institutions throughout Vienna.
