Biography
Robert Bob Maroney, senior vice president, Manufacturing, leads Amgen’s commercial manufacturing organization. Maroney is also responsible for the contract manufacturing companies that supplement the capacity and capabilities of management of raw materials and device suppliers. Prior to this role, Maroney served as vice president, Site Operations in Puerto Rico. He was responsible for the full spectrum of manufacturing from drug substance to aseptic formulation/fill, packaging and small molecule operations. He joined Amgen in 2006 in the Commercial Quality group. Maroney has worked in Operations Improvement in Thousand Oaks, as Supply Chain head at Amgen Breda in the Netherlands and in Clinical Quality. In 2010, he moved to Puerto Rico as vice president, Manufacturing.Pharmaceutical Industry
