Biography
Rainer Burian was founder and 25 years CEO of PAA Laboratories, a leading supplier of cell culture products to the biopharmaceutical industry. He developed the company from a small local lab to a global corporation with subsidiaries on three continents. Several company prizes were awarded to PAA under his leadership. In 2011, he sold the company to a multinational pharmaceutical corporation and became a successful investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Rainer holds a Master in Business Administration (Mag.) from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
