Alexandra Grohe

Biography

She studies German Philology at the University of Vienna, where she first came into contact with lexicography during her internship at the project ‘Variantenwörterbuch des Deutschen - NEU’ (‘Lexicon of German Standard Varieties’ VWB).

Research Interest

Since January 2016, she has been working as a student assistant at the Special Research Programme ‘Deutsch in Österreich. Variation – Kontakt – Perzeption’ (‘German in Austria. Variation – Contact – Perception’, DiÖ). In July 2017, she joined the research department ‘Variation und Wandel des Deutschen in Österreich (‘Variation and Change of German in Austria’) to work at the Wörterbuch der bairischen Mundarten in Österreich (‘Dictionary of Bavarian Dialects in Austria’, WBÖ).
